Chamber Music Summer Camp at The College of St. Scholastica

Join us for an inspiring five-day chamber music camp designed for string players and pianists seeking to refine their skills, collaborate with fellow musicians, and immerse themselves in the world of chamber music. Students aged 18-25 are invited to attend the daily camp held on the scenic College of St. Scholastica campus. Lunch will be provided.

What to Expect:

  • Daily coachings & lessons with local professional musicians
  • Opportunity to observe a rehearsal and perform in a master class for the Duluth Chamber Music Festival artists
  • Performance opportunity at the Benedictine Living Center
  • Final student recital in Mitchell Auditorium on August 15

In addition to musical growth, campers will benefit from body mapping and Alexander Technique classes to enhance their playing and prevent injury. Outside of rehearsals, participants can explore Duluth’s natural beauty with hiking and kayaking excursions through CSS’s Outdoor Pursuit program.

Don’t miss this opportunity to grow as a musician, connect with like-minded artists, and experience an unforgettable summer of music and adventure!

Lead by Jessica Schroeder, Assistant Professor at The College of St. Scholastica. An active performer, she has worked with various local ensembles, including Borealis Chamber Artists, the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra, and Lyric Opera of the North.
