A free ROBUST 3.0 Training (Rural Optimization of Behavioral Health for Underserved Settings and Trainees). ROBUST 3.0 addresses the significant need to expand the behavioral health workforce and strengthen practitioners’ integrated behavioral health (IBH) knowledge, particularly with a focus on children, adolescents, and young adults at risk for mental health, trauma, and behavioral health disorders.

This training is designed for LICSWs who are planning to begin supervising LGSWs, LSWs, or Clinical Interns and want practical, relevant tools that fit real and current social work settings. The training focuses on building confidence, clarity, and ethical competence in the supervisory role while meeting Minnesota supervision requirements.

IMPORTANT NOTE: By registering for this course, you are affirming that you hold a current LICSW and are willing to provide clinical supervision in rural or underserved areas. Please do not register if you do not meet these requirements.

  • Ethical and effective clinical supervision including roles, responsibilities, and power dynamics 
  • Applying evidence-based frameworks (CB, DBT, attachment-informed and trauma conscious care) within the supervision relationship 
  • Supporting supervisee development, confidence, and competence through feedback, evaluation, and reflective practice 
  • Navigating complex supervision scenarios, including risk management, boundaries, and supporting clinicians in high-stress systems

Trainer:
Abi Lingwall, MSW, LICSW received her BSW ('14) and her MSW ('17) from The College of St. Scholastica (CSS). She is currently the Director of Counseling Services at CSS and an instructor with the BSW and MSW programs. Prior to joining CSS, she worked with children and families in the mental health field. In her free time, she enjoys biking, traveling, and hanging out with her dogs.
